Blog back again?

Its been a long long break that I have had from blogging. Maybve I should start again…

Yesterday I went out with my parents. We went all the way to Changi Civil Service Club. The club near the Jetty we take to go to Pulau Ubin?
Well. What happened was, we planned to go swimming, but when we actually got near the pool, we saw HUGE(I mean it) dark clouds approaching us. Whoa. so yea. No swimming. so we took some pictures of the good view. Anyway note: it was mom that said we should not swim. ok

Then we went to the jetty area to take a look where the bum boats go. so after loitering for a while, we decided then that we would go and drink some indian tea(much better than the tea that we normally drink made by chinese) So, going to the hawker centre, we looked for an opened shop that sold the tea. BUT none were opened. so we sat down and mom then set out on a quest to search for an open indian muslim stall. She came back laughing. It was Hari Raya so all the indian muslims were not open. hai…

so I resorted to drinking Tah Halia. I’m telling you…this would be the perfect drink for one who is mugging for an exam. Wha!!!!it was so so so so strong that the I felt that I was drinking pure ginger water! No tea taste at all….even after leaving the place to go back to the car, The burning of the ginger was still in my mouth and throat!!! whoo!

So then we went back to the civil service club to see if the weather was good enough to swim in. Yes it was….but not for long. So my father and I swam for a while, chatted then…it started to rain….I dunno about you but I would definitely not want to risk getting struck by lightning right. So My dad and I decided to get out of the pool. amazingly, my mom told us that IT WAS OK to stay in the pool
MOM! WHAT WERE YOU THINKING???

so anyway, dad said:”life’s too precious to do this type of thing.” so anyway, we got changed then went to the restraunt within the compound. salty and oily food! but yea…nice anyway…

So then we finished eating but I didnt want to go home so fast. So we drove to somewhere behind the airport to talk. very nice and windy. then we went to buy pao for my grandfather before going home. Dad bought 3 packets!!! ok….

well then I went home to do some gifts for Mr Lim and Miss Foo’s wedding as well as Johan’s birthday present. Did that until 1am….wanted to sleep in today but I guess my mind still must be with studying. I woke up at 6!!!!!ahhhhh! so early!

Thank You Mom and Dad for such a good outing.

Happy belated birthday to Johan!

Congratulations Mr Lim and Ms Foo on your Big day!!!

Another Day of holidays

today was better than the days that were passed…much better than the other days…did research on my education that would be…

looking foreward to getting a place in SAJC and if not some others bah…here’s the route I wanta take…first I enter a science stream in JC…then enter a poly either physio or occupational therapy course(cos they both need me to have A levels to get in)..then after 3 years of poly edu i will get into a overseas uni and get a degree in either one of those courses. that would only take me one year. altogether it is a long course but it has good prospects and best of all, I go into a stream that has to do with bio but does not need me to have bio as a subject in either O or A levels! haha

hmm…back to today…did not do much actually…mostly researching on the education and then playing Runescape.(yes…I was really THAT bored…)

let me continue with the second day of my trip to NZ

Saturday 15th

we went for lunch after a small breakfast at the unit-City Central- and took a small walk to the city central. took some pics on the way there of my aunt and mom and cous and dad…haha thats all of them except me!(I seldom appear in my pics cos I am most of the time taking the pics)

went to lunch in the central part of the Cristchurch at a food court. decision made by my father, always looking for food court to eat in…anyway…the things in NZ-as in food-are EX!!! at least $10 on average.

there was a stall with singaporeans manning it selling singaporean food! i didn’t eat that…haha. I ate Japanese food…

After that we went to the Avon River, originally wanting to find the place where we could kayak. In the end we went alongside almost the whole river cos there was a road which we thought only streatcheda short distance…in the end, it was as long as the river! and the place that we were was at the other end of where we wanted to be. so we took about 1 hour looking for the place and then we found out that they close at 5 and we started out looking for it at 230! after a search…we finally found it at 400!

to be continued:)…

Hello anyone who is interested!

This is my very very very first time using wordpress besides the times I use it when on my worship teams blog…haha :D .

As u my friends who are well informed know…I went to New Zealand for hols(and that I still cannot get over that it is over already). For the next few posts, I will be recounting my trip there day by day…(maybe even some awesome pics…getting jealous??) As for now, I am lazy to type alot…so i’ll start w/ the first day.

Friday 14th

We arrived at the Aukland Airport from Singapore and had to wait for my aunt and my cousin Ian to come a sthey were arriving on 2 different flights… my aunt on an Emirates Flight from Singapore and Ian from Australia on a Quantas flight…Aunt scheduled to arrive in the afternoon at 4+pm, and Ian at 7+pm. we were supposed to take a flight to Christchurch at 8+pm and guess the time my family arrived in the airport- morning at 10+am! we had to wait from then till 8+ b4 we could go take our flight.

I having slept very little on the flight to Aukland was dozing off to sleep when we were waiting for them there at the food centre at the airport…..now….lets skip a few hours to get to the time when my aunt arrived…when she arrived, I was happy to have some company-but there was another thing….she had received a phonecall from Ian that his flight was delayed and that he would only reach Aukland at 7.45 which was a disaster to us as we had a flight that we needed to catch at 8+ at the domestic terminal( which we in the end found out was very far away from tghe main airport.) so my dad then said we should do an express check-in of our baggage so that we can be ready for Ian when he comes, so we went to find the terminal and to our surprise, we found out that on the contrary to what we were told(that the terminal was a ten-minute walk – which gave the impression that it was nearby) it was actually quite far away!…my mom and I were then ‘tasked’ to stand at the terminal to wait for the arrival of the “guest-of-honour” and as she was the one to ask for directions on what time the gate would open or close, and due to some mishearing on my part, I thought the time that we were supposed to get in the plane by was 8.15- and guess what…when 8.15 came and Ian was not there still, I was worrying my heart out!but when Ian finally came and I realised the time was actually 8.15 when the gate is opened, there was yet another dispute- this time over where the bags were to be put at the express check-in. the adults thought that we had to get the girl to come and check the bags before we could put it on the conveyer belt and then when they found out that the girl was there only for those that had overweight items, we then argued that the bags were no to be put only at the one conveyer belt I saw but they thought there was a need to put the bags on a different belt if we were on different flights, turns out I was right that there was only one conveyer belt and they would help to split the differnent bags into the flights….

was very greatto see Ian again after all the months of not seeing him since he was in Australia.

at christchurch, the taxi the motel ordered was there waiting for us and the motel was good with even a Subway drive-thru just behind it….(but after this trip, don’t ever ask me out to Subway! I’ve gone sick of it)  there are some pics of the place that we stayed in(City Central) by the time we arrived at the apartments, at was late, so we unpacked and then went to sleep-but only after wqatching the last part of Matrix Reloded-haha.
